    Tell us about your work experience on the Ranch. What did you do there? What was an average day like? What is the most rewarding about Ranch life, in your opinion. What is the hardest part of Ranch life?

I did make friends!!

One if the reasons I was hesitant to leave home and travel was because I would miss my friends. I felt that if I moved into an RV that I was basically submitting myself to be friendless. I did it anyway. I had to trust that God would provide for my longing for community. We are part of a group of families who also travle called Fulltime Families. Fulltime families hosts rallies all over the country a few times a year. My parents told me one day that there was going to be a rally near us. They said we were going to go to meet other families that travel. Excitedly they said that there were many teens among these families and I would be able to make friends. To be honest I was not very happy. I had gotten used to never seeing anyone my age and had forgotten how to act "cool" around teens. I was afraid of being the "new kid" and did not want to be judged. Hello Everybody!! I'm sorry it has been so long since I have updated y'all. We are in a season of life right now where we have been stationary coming up on two months. I have been doing a lot of thinking about my blog and what to post.  My blog mainly features what I learn about my Lord, myself, my family, and God's creation as I travel. So being stationary, I was worried anything I wrote about would be boring. As events unfolded, this topic of loving your enemies was pressed on my heart. Then my pastor gave a sermon on the topic and I knew that was my green light to start writing. So here we go. Love your enemies. Yep, you read that right. Isn't that such a strange concept? Our culture has always been supportive of a self satisfying attitude. Culture tells us to look out for number one and those who are mean to us, aren't worth it. We resided in Fairbanks for 10 days. During which time, many activities filled our schedule. The first half of our stay we got to enjoy an RV park with full hook ups.* Although having this rare privilege was enough reason to celebrate, I was especially excited because a meet up was planned. Reuniting with old friends, and meeting new, one of my favorite parts of traveling full time. We broke bread together one night and I paused for a moment to dwell in this moment of special community.
